Ground Rules

As we begin these conversations, we invite one another to share our experiences, perspectives, and hopes with honesty, openness, and respect. To help create a space where everyone feels heard and valued, we agree to the following ground rules.

• One person speaks at a time. Everyone is asked to listen actively and with an open heart while others are sharing.
• Keep your remarks brief. Please limit your sharing to two minutes so that everyone has an opportunity to participate.
• Treat one another with kindness and respect. We honor the dignity and worth of every person in our community, even when we have different perspectives.
• Respect confidentiality. Personal stories and comments shared during our conversation should remain within the group.
